Who We Are

IV Consulting was founded in Laguna Hills in 2004 and

has over 43 years of combined experience in Architecture and Construction with a focus on large scale complex commercial projects which includes University Building's with Research Labs, Classrooms, Administration, Athletic, Cogen Plants, Biosafety and Airports, Correctional, Offices.  Additional long term experience with large scale multifamily type projects (including Podium & garage wrap concepts) and K-12 educational schools. (Nationwide, Statewide, Local, and DSA reviewed projects.)

Our approach has always been to create a strong personal relationship with our Clients, and to provide them with the highest level of service they have received to date.  Our commitment is to always have a satisfied Client and have them knowing they have made the right choice by putting their project(s) in our hands.  To that end we are on the same team.  We also require the same mindset from all of our Consultants.

IV Consulting has licensed Architects on staff with extensive Code knowledge. 

We possess a strong emphasis on Accuracy, Code Compliance, Production techniques, Coordination, Technical acuity, Construction Documentation and extensive Construction Administrative procedures knowledge. 

Our qualifications are diverse and we will bring a thorough project evaluation to fruition for you as the Client. 

All questions are encouraged and sought during the entire process and a teamwork approach is fostered with communication being the key factor.

Expert Witness, complete Building Constructability / Coordination / Peer / Quality Control reviews, Building code analysis and review, Fire Code & Fire alarm analysis and review, and pre-permit submittal review.

We are proficiency in all of the International Codes, California codes, and Regional Codes - Building, Fire, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, including NFPA regulations. We have recently been providing Code services for projects in Texas, New York City, Alaska, Nevada and Northern & Southern California.

IV Consulting brings the highest value to your project with our architectural and code knowledge, our accuracy, and our on-time delivery of services which will provide "Added Value" to your project.  Our thorough reviews will result in faster permits getting your projects off the ground sooner than through the normal process. 

Our services result in saved time and a more "complete" set of construction documents being permitted which ultimately will result in minimized "change orders" or "Schedule delays" during construction. On time and On Budget is our mantra!

IV Consulting has ongoing experience with plan review services "within and for" Building Departments, State Fire Marshal's, Government Agencies and Universities and utilize this insider's knowledge to get your projects through the permitting process more quickly and with minimal issues.

Our group has also had experience with hands-on construction under, and along with, General Contractors on medium to large scale projects.

We are extremely proud of our "non-litigation" track record and provide you with the assurance that we will strive to keep that record intact.  As an Architect or as a Consultant there have been zero litigation issues due to the thoroughness of our constructions documents produced or reviewed.
